Spirituality Workshop

Based on a growing number of requests, Alan has put together an exceptional day of discussion, debate, and reflection on what spirituality is in our lives, relationships and work. This is not about religion, although the topic will be raised in the discussions.
In fact, there will be a panel of religious leaders for one segment who will discuss their views on spirituality and answer audience questions and respond to comments.
No one is expected to come away with “answers” so much as clarity and comfort, but there may be answers for some. The discussions are open to and embracing criticism of spirituality and its role.
On the optional second morning, participants will voluntarily share their beliefs, how they’ve been helped or hindered, and what they’d like to achieve in embracing aspects of spirituality in their lives. The goal is that a candid group of people share and help each other. This was an amazing aspect of the Self-Esteem Workshops that Alan conducted.
Be prepared to emerge having:
- Learned what spirituality is to you
- Become honest as to its presence, absence, and role (or non-role)
- Heard from others how they embrace spirituality
- Understood the relationship to religions
- Articulated what the proper role in your life it represents
- Gained partners and colleagues to continue the discussion
(Disclaimer: Alan is a Eucharistic minister in the Catholic faith. But this experience is not about religion, per se, and there will be no proselytizing or attempts to convert anyone!!)
